Pink Cuskeel

Scientific name: Genypterus blacodes
The Genypterus blacodes is a species with a tendency to live in submarine canyons, on the edge of the continental shelf. Its body is pinkish and thick in the front and thin around the back and has small scales on the body and head. It reaches a maximum length of 125 to 140 cm. The period of greatest capture is during the first quarter of the year.
